X wins over allegations it retaliated for anti-Musk remarks

X Corp. convinced a National Labor Relations Board judge to dismiss claims that the social media company wrongfully fired an employee for posting criticism of company owner Elon Musk.

Sharon Steckler, an administrative law judge for the NLRB, dismissed the complaint filed by the agency’s attorneys on Tuesday, ruling that former employee Yao Yue was a supervisor who was not protected by federal labor law.

The decision is the first in the NLRB’s very first complaint against the social media company formerly known as Twitter.
