CBRE Arranges $23 Million Sale of Weymouth Shopping Center

CBRE has arranged the sale of Riverway Plaza, a 250,000-square-foot shopping center in Weymouth, MA, for $23 million. An institutional investor purchased the property from CBRE Investment Management. The CBRE team, led by Nat Heald and Jordana Roet, managed the marketing and represented the seller.

“Investor demand for shopping centers continues to grow across the region,” Heald said. “Riverway Plaza generated significant interest due to its excellent tenant roster, below-market rents and prime location in metro Boston.”

Located less than 12 miles from downtown Boston, Riverway Plaza is anchored by Lowe’s Home Improvement. The center, situated on 23 acres overlooking Hingham Bay and Boston Harbor, also features tenants such as Michael’s, Dollar Tree, Papa Gino’s and Staples.
