Bangalore: The manager of One8 Commune-Bengaluru, co-owned by the Indian cricket star Virat Kohli has been charged with allegedly operating the business outside of permitted hours, according to a filed criminal complaint.

The First Information Report (FIR) filed with Cubbon Park Police station reports that on July 6, One8 Commune-Bengaluru was found serving customers at 1:20 am, twenty minutes past the mandatory closing time. This violation of the operating hours led to the registration of an FIR against the pub.

Official sources reveal that a sub-inspector patrolling at night received information about the One8 Commune’s nighttime operation. Upon arrival at 1:20am, the sub-inspector confirmed that the pub was still serving customers, prompting the legal action.
