Lake Macquarie’s beloved spot Living Smart Festival will return in September.

A dynamic trio of sustainability champions will headline the event, including the winner of the first season of Australia Only, Gina Chick.

Gina is known for her remarkable 67-day solo survival trek in the Tasmanian wilderness. In the show, she shares her experiences and offers festival-goers a unique perspective on her connection to nature and the great benefits of wilderness immersion.

The Living Smart Festival is one of Australia’s largest sustainability events and aims to inspire visitors to adopt sustainable lifestyles.

Gina joins ‘Frugal Foodie’ Steph de Sousa And River Cottage Australia host Paul Westto promote the festival’s core message of everyday sustainability.

This year’s festival promises a busy programme with various workshops, stalls and presentations focused on sustainability themes.

In addition to this year’s keynote speakers, Living Smart Festival will also feature a multicultural zone showcasing global customs, traditions, music, dance and cuisine, providing a rich cultural experience and highlighting the universal importance of sustainability.
