Ark Encounter Announces Return of Christian Music’s ’40 Days & 40 Nights’

For the fourth year in a row, the world’s largest Christian music festival returns to the Ark Encounter, July 30 through September 7 in Williamstown.

“40 Days & 40 Nights of Christian Music” will feature over 150 artists, playing a variety of music styles. The festival’s name 40 Days, 40 Nights is a nod to Genesis 7:4 and the number of days it rained during Noah’s flood.

What’s new at the Ark?

This week, Ark Encounter launches the Macropod Experience. The zoo’s Macropods (animals with large feet), red kangaroos and Bennett’s wallabies can be seen up close in a behind-the-scenes experience.

There are a limited number of tickets available. A portion of the proceeds will go to the humanitarian organization Samaritan’s Purse for their work in Oceania.

Visitors can feed, touch and take photos with these special creatures.

Visitors to the growing zoo can now also admire giant anteaters (which can grow up to 2 metres long) and a beautiful green anaconda (which can grow up to 3 metres long).

Admission prices, discounts, hotel options and additional information can be found at www.40daysofchristianmusic.com.
